Guidelines for nanoparticle research in animals

Research discoveries made in the laboratory or patient bedside must be validated for safety and efficacy before they can be implemented for widespread patient use.  It is important that such studies be performed ethically and humanely, while following both national and international guidelines.  This talk will introduce concepts important for designing, implementing, and monitoring research protocols involving animal subjects.
