CaNCURE alumni create Nanotechnology Club!

Jordan Harris and fellow CaNCURE Alums Jeremy Thong, Soleil Doggett, and Joey Nneji have created the first Nanotechnology Club on campus.  Come join us for the first meeting on December 9!  The club aims to increase undergraduate accessibility to and student interest in the nanotechnology field through educational seminars where local scientists, graduate students, and even undergraduates will present to the student body about their nanotechnology related research. These seminars seek to demystify the field as well as provide examples of the many avenues possible using the science of nanotechnology. Besides seminars, other methods of nanotechnology education planned for this club include nanotechnology lab tours, nanotechnology research brainstorming meetings and journal article discussions.

At this meeting, we will ask for input for any ideas or requests for meeting topics in the Spring and will feature a presentation by Dr. Anne van de Ven-Moloney about her current nanomedicine research!

When: Thursday December 9th at 6 pm

Where: 010 East Village
