CaNCURE opens door to medical school

Biochemistry student Brian Cortese found mentorship, experience, and opportunities through the CaNCURE program. After a six-month research co-op followed by volunteer work in his CaNCURE laboratory, he is now selecting between multiple medical school offers.  Along his journey, Brian found that, “There’s a lot more to it than just learning bench and lab skills. It’s about how to think, it’s about meeting new people, and it’s really all about the mentorship that will help you reach your potential long term.”
