Daem Celestin wins RISE2019

Daem Celestin, Biology ’21,  was awarded the Undergraduate Best Physical and Life Sciences Award for her poster titled “nPLEX Assay for High Throughput Protein Analysis‘ “.  In the poster, she described her groundbreaking research looking at biomarkers of pancreatic ductal carcinoma in the laboratory of Dr. Cesar Castro.  She has continued to work on research as a directed study after completing her CaNCURE co-op. Congrats Daem!

A total of 9 CaNCURE students showcased their research at this year’s RISE event, which was attended by over 2000 industry leaders, entrepreneurs, investors, researchers, and technology enthusiasts.
