Noelle Castilla Ojo (Behavioral Neurosci, ’17) was awarded the prestigious AACR-Thomas J. Bardos Science Education Scholar Award. This award is intended to inspire young scientists to enter the field of cancer research by providing funding to attend and present at two consecutive AACR Annual Meetings. Noelle is very excited for this opportunity to stay up-to-date on the latest cancer research as she continues to perform her own research in the Sridhar Laboratory.
